Package Count Module

Welcome to the Package Count module, designed to enhance your Odoo inventory and logistics management. This module introduces fields to track the expected and actual package count in various stock operations.

Overview

With this module, warehouse staff and logistics managers gain a clear view of the packaging requirements for each order. The expected package count provides an estimate based on product quantities and packaging, while the actual package count tracks the real packaging used during picking and delivery.

Technical Details

This module extends Odoo’s stock.picking and stock.move models to add new computed fields for package counts:

• Expected Package Count: Computed based on quantities and packaging configurations for each item in the order.
• Actual Package Count: Based on actual packages recorded in the stock moves.

Requirements

To use this module, ensure the following dependencies are installed:

Installation

Install this module like any other Odoo app. Once installed, the fields for expected and actual package counts will appear in relevant stock and order forms.
