It enables automatic data synchronization, real-time inventory updates, order management, and centralized store control from a single Odoo dashboard. This module allows businesses to automate product import and export, order synchronization, customer data updates, stock management, tax mapping, and invoice creation. It supports multiple Shopify stores, scheduled cron jobs, digest reports, detailed operation logs, and fully configurable workflows. Shopify Connector Workflow
- Install the Shopify Connector module in Odoo.
- Go to Shopify Stores and click New to create a Shopify instance.
- Enter the Store URL and API credentials.
- Click Test Connection to verify the Shopify connection.
- Configure Product, Order, Tax, and Inventory settings.
- Enable required options such as Import Products, Import Orders, Import Customers, and Inventory Sync.
- Import products from Shopify into Odoo (manual or filtered import).

Shopify Instance Management
This section allows you to connect and manage multiple Shopify stores in Odoo, enabling synchronization of products, orders, and inventory from a single dashboard.
Create and Configure Shopify Instance
Click on New to create a Shopify instance. Enter the required details such as Instance Name, Shopify Store URL, and API Access Token, then save the configuration. Click on Test Connection to verify the connection between Odoo and Shopify.
Successful Connection & Sync Setup
Once the connection is successful, the store details are validated and synchronization options become available for further configuration.
Enable Product Import
Enable the "Import Products" option in the configuration settings. Then navigate to the Products menu to initiate the product import process from Shopify into Odoo.
Import and Export Products
Click on the "Import" button to import products from Shopify into Odoo. Use the "Imported Product" tab to view and manage imported products. Use the "Export" button to send products from Odoo to Shopify and manage them in the "Exported Product" tab.
Apply Product Import Filters
Select the required filters such as Price Range, Category, Date Range, and Stock Availability to import specific products based on your criteria. Click Continue to proceed with the product import process.
Confirm Filter Selection
After configuring the desired filters, click Continue to initiate the product import process.
Start Product Import
After clicking Continue, the Importing Products screen opens. Click Start to begin importing products from Shopify into Odoo.
Product Import in Progress
When the product import starts, the screen displays the total number of items along with the number of products imported and updated. You can click "Pause" to temporarily stop the process or "Cancel" to completely stop the import.
Product Import Completed
When the product import runs, the system shows total, imported, updated, and error records, with options to Pause or Cancel. After completion, the imported products are listed in Odoo. You can also enable order import or export orders between Shopify and Odoo, and exported orders will be available in Shopify for fulfillment.
View Imported Products
This screen displays the list of successfully imported products available in Odoo for review and management.
Order Export Configuration
Enable the "Export Orders" option in the configuration settings. Then navigate to the Orders menu to initiate the order export process from Odoo to Shopify.
Export Orders
Click the Export button to start exporting orders from Odoo to Shopify. Select the required orders or apply filters as needed, then click Continue to proceed.
View Exported Orders
The list of successfully exported orders is displayed in Odoo for review, tracking, and management.
Orders Available in Shopify
On the Shopify store, the exported orders are displayed and ready for fulfillment and tracking.
Customer Import Configuration
Enable the Import Customers option in the configuration settings and navigate to the Customers menu to begin importing customer data from Shopify into Odoo.
Customer Import Status
Clicking Import Customers opens a progress window displaying the instance name, status, progress percentage, and record counts, with options to Pause or Cancel.
Imported Customers List
After completion, the list of successfully imported customers is available in Odoo for review and management.
Category Export Configuration
Enable the Export Categories option in the configuration settings and navigate to the Categories menu to start exporting category data from Odoo to Shopify.

Click Export to send categories from Odoo to Shopify. Once the export is successful, a confirmation popup message will appear.

After export, you can view the list of successfully exported categories within Odoo for tracking and management.

The exported categories become visible in Shopify and are ready for further use and organization.
Inventory Import Configuration
Enable the Import Inventory option in the configuration settings and navigate to the Inventory menu to begin importing stock data from Shopify into Odoo.

Click Import to start importing inventory from Shopify into Odoo. Once completed, stock quantities are successfully updated in the system. (Ensure that products are imported before importing inventory)

Enable the Export Inventory option in the configuration settings to synchronize stock quantities from Odoo to Shopify.
Inventory Export Process
Click the Export button to start exporting inventory from Odoo to Shopify. Select the required products or apply filters if needed, then click Continue to proceed with the export process.
Updated Stock in Shopify
After the inventory export is completed, the updated stock quantities can be viewed in Shopify under the respective products.
Digest Report Configuration
Enable the Report Sent option to allow sending the digest report via email. Enter the required email content, then click Generate Digest to send the summary report to the configured email address. This report includes synchronization details for products, orders, customers, and inventory.
Viewing Digest Reports
Click Generate Digest, then navigate to the Reports menu and open Digests to view the synchronization summary, including product, order, customer, inventory updates, and error details.
Digest Report Details
When you open the Digest Report, it displays a complete synchronization summary for the selected date, including products, orders, customers, inventory updates, errors, and warnings. The same report is generated when you click Generate Digest.
Digest Email Notification
The sent digest report can be viewed in the mailbox. The email contains the same synchronization summary details as shown in the system, including products, orders, customers, inventory updates, errors, and warnings.
Operation Logs
Navigate to the Logs menu and open Shopify Operation Logs to view detailed records of all import and export activities. The logs display the operation type, status (Success, Warning, Error), processed records, duration, user, and related system messages.
Product Configuration Settings
The Product Configuration section controls how products are imported and managed between Shopify and Odoo. You can set the default product category, enable automatic category creation, import product images, update prices on import, and define the invoice policy. The Statistics section displays the total number of synced products, orders, and customers for the selected Shopify instance.
Order & Tax Configuration
The Order Configuration section manages how Shopify orders are imported into Odoo, including auto confirmation, invoice creation, payment terms, sales team, and salesperson assignment. The Tax Configuration section allows you to set default tax rules (e.g., 15%) that are automatically applied to imported products and orders.
Cron (Automation) Configuration
The Cron Configuration section automates synchronization processes such as product import, order import, customer import, inventory sync, category sync, digest report generation, and log clean-up at scheduled intervals.(If you choose the Product Import Cron)
Product Import Cron Scheduling
Open the Product Import Cron, set the Next Execution Date and Priority, and the system will automatically import products from Shopify into Odoo based on the defined schedule.
Notification Settings
The Notifications section allows you to configure email alerts for order imports, errors, and low stock updates. You can define the email address where these notifications will be sent.
Activity Settings Configuration
Enable Create Activities in the Activity Settings section and select the required Activity Type (e.g., Client Call). Once activated, the system will automatically create activities for import and export events to help track workflow actions.
Auto-Created Activities
After enabling Activity Settings, activities are automatically created and appear under My Activities, where users can Reschedule, Mark as Done, or Cancel them.
Logging Clean-up Configuration
The Logging Clean-up Settings section automatically deletes old logs after a specified number of days. You can also enable an option to send a clean-up notification email.
Multi-Store Management
From the Shopify Stores menu, you can create and manage multiple Shopify store instances in Odoo. Each store can have its own configuration, synchronization settings, and separate data management for inventory, products, orders, and customers.
