3. Does the module require Odoo Website or eCommerce?

No. Guest-facing booking is not bundled here. You can add Website later or connect external booking engines; the core module targets front-office, finance, and operations workflows inside the Odoo backend.

4. How does room availability work when saving bookings?

Booking lines evaluate stay dates, existing reservations, optional holds, and company context. Room selection domains can limit choices to rooms still sellable for the entire stay, reducing double-bookings at confirmation time.
