Configure settings to disable product selection for out-of-stock items, ensuring customers are promptly informed about product availability.

Low Stock Screen

Select the type of stock to be displayed on the POS interface, with options for On Hand and Forecasted stock levels, providing flexibility in how inventory information is presented.

Color Customization

Tailor low stock and in-stock item indicators with personalized color options, ensuring efficient inventory management and visual clarity on the POS interface

Screens

1. Stock Configuration

  1. 1.1 Inventory Management

The Inventory Management setting controls how stock quantities are updated, offering two options: At the session closing (faster), which updates stock at the end of each session for improved speed but less real-time accuracy, and In real time (accurate but slower), which updates stock immediately with each transaction for the most accurate levels but slower performance. Users can choose based on their need for speed versus accuracy.

  2. 1.2 Display Stock

The Display Stock setting enables the visibility of stock levels directly on the product card. This feature includes two customizable settings: Low Stock Color, which allows users to select a color to indicate when stock levels are low, and In Stock Color, which lets users choose a color to signify sufficient stock levels. By visually differentiating stock statuses, this setting helps users quickly assess inventory levels and manage stock more effectively.

  3. 1.3 Stock Type

The Stock Type setting in the POS system determines whether to display actual stock quantities ("On Hand") or anticipated levels based on pending transactions ("Forecasted"). "On Hand" provides real-time stock information, while "Forecasted" offers predictive insights by considering incoming and outgoing stock movements. Choosing the right option supports effective inventory management and operational efficiency.

  4. 1.4 Restrict Product Out of Stock

The Restrict Product Out of Stock setting in the POS system prevents customers from ordering products that are not currently available in inventory. This functionality ensures that orders can only be placed for items that are in stock, based on the displayed quantity. By restricting out-of-stock purchases, the setting helps manage customer expectations and enhances operational efficiency by preventing backorders and potential delays in fulfillment.

  5. 1.5 Low Stock Products Screen

The Low Stock Products Screen setting in the POS system displays products with inventory levels below a defined threshold, such as 5 items. This feature aids in proactive inventory management by highlighting items approaching depletion, ensuring timely replenishment and maintaining optimal stock levels.

  6. 1.6 Warehouse Location

The warehouse location options in the POS system provide flexibility in managing inventory display. Selecting All Warehouses shows stock from all available warehouses, offering a comprehensive view of total inventory. Alternatively, choosing Current Session Warehouse displays stock only from the default source location assigned to the current session. This option ensures that the POS interface reflects inventory specific to the selected warehouse for that session, promoting accurate inventory management and efficient stock tracking.

2. POS Front End Screen

The POS front end screen provides a comprehensive view of product availability, enhanced by visual indicators based on inventory settings. Each product card displays stock levels, with colors configured to indicate status. Items in sufficient stock appear with the "In Stock Color," while items below the set low stock threshold are highlighted in the "Low Stock Color." Additionally, products that are out of stock are grayed out and disabled, preventing customers from ordering unavailable items. This intuitive display system ensures clear communication of stock status, enabling efficient inventory management and smooth customer interactions.

3. Low Stock Menu

The Low Stock Menu in the POS system highlights products with inventory levels below a defined threshold.

4. Low Stock Screen

When the Low Stock Menu is clicked, a new popup screen appears displaying detailed information about products with low inventory levels. The screen shows the product name, on-hand quantity, and forecasted quantity, providing a comprehensive view of current and expected stock levels.

excellent module for synchronizing stocks, blocks negative sales to be able to maintain real inventory at the point of sale

I recommend the module

If improvements are required, the developers can make them quickly.
