Shopfloor is a new module from Odoo 17 that helps manage and operate work orders more easily. However, with a large number of work orders and many employees working across different work centers, this can lead to errors from employees. For example, Employee A might "Mark As Done" a work order assigned to Employee B if Employee A forgets to switch to his own account, or Employee A might accidentally start a work order that he is not assigned to.
This is the default shopfloor screen of Odoo.
This app will provide you with a better user experience on the Shopfloor, helping to minimize unintentional errors by employees.

List features:
1. Divide the work order into two sections.
- There will be two work order sections. On the left will be the work orders of the current employee, and on the right will be the open work orders.
- This helps the employee easily identify the assigned work orders, reducing mistakes.
2. Limit the number of work orders that can be started in each work center.
- We can see that the maximum number of work orders that can be started by one employee in the 'Assembly Line 1' work center is 1.
- Employee 'Abigail Peterson' is currently working on work order 'WH/MO/00025 - Manual Assembly'.
If 'Abigail Peterson' tries to start work order 'WH/MO/00026 - Assembly', she will receive the following message:
- To start work order 'WH/MO/00026 - Assembly', Employee 'Abigail Peterson' must pause work order 'WH/MO/00025 - Manual Assembly'.
- This feature helps prevent employees from starting too many work orders in a single work center,
or it will require them to close their current work orders before starting new ones.
3. Confirm the PIN before performing actions on the work order.
- The Shopfloor screen is shared among multiple employees, making it challenging to prevent Employee A from interacting with work orders assigned to Employee B.
- When a work order is assigned to Employee A, only Employee A should be able to perform actions on that work order.
To ensure this, the system will require the employee to enter a PIN before any action on the work order is executed.
4. Require Employees to Set a PIN.
- When an employee logs into the Shopfloor and has not set a PIN, Odoo will prompt them to set one.
- If a work order has not been assigned to any employee, then an employee can only start or stop the work order but will not be able to perform any other actions on it.
