Overview

The "Auto Assign Serial No From Sale Order" module in Odoo 17 streamlines the management of serial numbers within sales orders, providing a suite of features designed to simplify serial number handling and improve inventory management efficiency.

Features

Users can scan Serial Numbers in Sale Orders

Importing serial numbers from a CSV file

Entering serial numbers directly in the serial column

Fetches product records based on scanned serial numbers

Configuration

  • Serial Number Entering

    • You can scan Serial No in Sale Order Line either manually or via CSV file, automatically assigning corresponding product details.
  • Serial Number Not Found Alert

    • If scan serial number not found in system then below popup will raise.
  • Error Alert for Zero Quantity

    • If the quantity is set to 0, the system will raise an error alert.
  • Auto-Assigning Serial Number

    • Upon confirming the sale order, serial numbers are automatically fetched and displayed in the detailed operation page of the corresponding delivery order.
