Product Multi Barcode

Product Multi Barcode is designed to extend Odoo’s standard barcode functionality by allowing multiple barcodes to be linked to a single product. In real-world scenarios, products often come with different barcodes based on packaging, suppliers, regions, or labeling standards. Managing these variations using a single barcode field can be limiting and inefficient. This module solves that challenge by enabling users to configure multiple barcodes per product while maintaining strict uniqueness to avoid duplication. Users can search and identify products using any of the assigned barcodes across different Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory. In the Point of Sale system, the module enhances usability by allowing users to scan different barcodes of the same product without manually selecting the product each time. The system automatically updates the quantity in the cart when multiple barcodes of the same product are scanned. Additionally, if an unknown barcode is scanned, the system generates an alert, helping prevent errors and ensuring data accuracy. The module integrates seamlessly with existing workflows and is ideal for retail, wholesale, and distribution businesses that handle products with multiple barcode variations.
