PBX Compatibility
Compatible with all Asterisk-based PBX systems through Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI), including FreePBX, Issabel, VitalPBX, PBXact, Wazo, XiVO, Switchvox, PBXware, Yeastar, Grandstream UCM, VICIdial, GOautodial, Xorcom CompletePBX, Thirdlane and many other Asterisk-derived platforms. Any PBX exposing a standard AMI interface can be integrated without modification.

How It Works
A lightweight external listener connects to the PBX through Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI) and forwards validated events to Odoo. This keeps the telephony connection layer responsive and avoids placing heavy continuous PBX communication directly on the Odoo server.
Inside Odoo, Asterisk Base VoIP Integration for Odoo can identify callers, match phone numbers with contacts, connect calls to the proper internal user or extension, update call logs, track call states, and help users create leads, tickets, or contacts directly from popup actions.
