🔧 WhatsApp Cloud API Integration Setup
Credentials or Details Required for WhatsApp Integration:
- A Facebook account credential
- A phone number (that is not already registered on WhatsApp)
- A credit or debit card (must be either VISA or MasterCard)
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Initially create a Facebook Account using Email that will help to login into Meta.
Now go to https://developers.facebook.com website.
Open My Apps.
Now we want to create an App, Click Create App.
Inside Create App fill up Details.
Open New Tab and Go to https://business.facebook.com page.
Here you can create a new business Portfolio.
Now back to https://developers.facebook.com and then create an App.
After Open Meta page, we will Click WhatsApp Set up.
Then Open WhatsApp Quick start Screen, we move to Api setup screen.
- After Open Api setup Screen we can generate access token.
- They gave one test Number for testing purpose.
- We should add Mobile Number that should not be any whatsapp Number.
- If you have a number that had whatsapp, we can use the number after delete that whatsapp account and use after 3mins.
Now your Number is added to whatsapp cloud API platform.
They ask Payment to continue next steps... Click Add Payment method.
