Account Summary Email for Customers and Suppliers
This application allows users to send customer and supplier account statements via email. The email includes a PDF attachment of the partner's ledger, which is generated using an email template.
Main Features of Odoo App:
- User Interaction:
- From the customer statement report view, the user clicks the "Send Email" button.
- Report Generation:
- The selected partner's ledger report is generated based on the userâs input (date range, journal, etc.).
- Email Preparation:
- The generated report is attached to an email.
- The email is then prepared with the necessary details (subject, body, sender, recipient).
- Email Sending:
- The email is sent to the partnerâs email address, and a confirmation is displayed to the user.
- Limitation on Multiple Selections:
- In the list view, sending emails to multiple customers or suppliers is not possible.
- If the user attempts to send an email for multiple customers, a warning will be raised, preventing the action from being completed.
