Accounting Intercompany Invoice
Create linked intercompany invoices from vendor bills.
Developed by 2BIT Digital GmbH — your Swiss Odoo partner for payroll, accounting, eCommerce, manufacturing and custom business solutions.
Overview
This module adds an intercompany invoicing action directly on vendor bills.
Users can open a wizard, choose a target company, generate a linked customer invoice, and keep the relation between both accounting documents visible in Odoo.
Why You Need This Module
When vendor bills need to be re-invoiced internally, users often recreate the customer invoice manually and lose the connection to the original bill.
This module reduces manual work and keeps the source relationship transparent for accounting teams.
What This Module Solves
- Create intercompany customer invoices directly from vendor bills
- Use the selected company as the customer on the generated invoice
- Keep the generated invoice in the same company as the source vendor bill
- Preserve the source bill link on the generated invoice
- Show related generated invoices on the vendor bill with a smart button
Key Features
- Header button on vendor bills to launch the intercompany invoice wizard
- Wizard to choose the target company
- Automatic creation of a draft customer invoice from vendor bill values
- Invoice lines reuse the same account as the source vendor bill lines
- Source vendor bill link is only shown on the generated invoice when a value exists
How It Works
- Open a vendor bill in Accounting
- Click Intercompany invoice
- Select the target company in the wizard
- Create the draft customer invoice
- Review the generated invoice and use the visible source bill link if needed
