Account Reviewer Access
Add a restricted billing reviewer role for assigned or followed accounting documents.
Developed by 2BIT Digital GmbH — your Swiss Odoo partner for payroll, accounting, eCommerce, manufacturing and custom business solutions.
Overview
Finance managers can give reviewers access to selected invoices and bills without granting full accountant permissions.
The module adds a Base Billing group, dedicated accounting menus, and record rules based on assignment or follower access.
Business Impact
Why You Need This Module
Reviewers often need to inspect or comment on invoices and bills, but full accounting access may be too broad for their role.
This module supports controlled collaboration by limiting what reviewers can see to documents relevant to them.
Which Problems It Solves
- Over-permissioning reviewers with full accounting rights
- Review users unable to access assigned billing documents
- Difficult separation between accounting work and document review
Key Benefits For Finance Teams
- Restricted reviewer role for billing documents
- Access based on assignment or follower relationship
- Dedicated menu entries for reviewer workflows
How It Works
- Assign the Base Billing reviewer group to the user.
- Add reviewers as followers or assign them to the relevant accounting documents.
- Reviewers use the dedicated menu entries to access the invoices or bills they are allowed to see.
