Activity Multi Assignees
Description
This module allows adding multiple users in the "Other Assignees" field to create separate activities for each assignee.
Functionality
A new field, “Other Assignees,” has been added to the activity form and is now visible on all activity types.
This field allows you to schedule activities for multiple users simultaneously.
Please note:
- Users added in the “Other
Assignees” field cannot be added again in the standard “Assigned to” field.
- If a duplicate user is selected, a warning message will be displayed (see the screenshots below).
If a user is already selected in the standard Odoo “Assigned to” field, they will no longer appear as an option in the “Other Assignees” field.
New activities are created for each user selected in the “Other Assignees” field. If an activity needs to be edited, only the “Other Assignees” field related to that user's activity can be modified.
In the scheduled activity form, all fields can be edited except the “Other Assignees” field.
When a recurring scheduled activity is marked as Done, the next scheduled activity will automatically inherit the
“Summary” from the previous
one.
The “Other Assignees” field is now editable in scheduled activity forms.
Note: The same workflow that applies to Odoo’s base “Assigned to” field is also applied to the newly added “Other Assignees” field in the activity form.
