POS Order Types

Dine-In, Takeaway, Delivery - Visual Order Type Selection for Point of Sale

Odoo 18 License Category

Overview

POS Order Types adds configurable order types to your Odoo Point of Sale. Cashiers can select the order type (Dine-In, Takeaway, Delivery, or any custom type) through a beautiful visual popup with icons and colors. The selected order type is displayed on receipts and tracked in backend reports.

Use Case: Perfect for restaurants, cafes, and food businesses that need to distinguish between different service types. Automatically prompts the cashier to select an order type when creating a new order, and can require customer selection for delivery orders.
