What other apps does this module require?
It depends on AminiTech HMS Base and AminiTech HMS Consultation (plus standard mail). Required apps are added to your cart automatically at checkout, so one purchase gives you a working install.
Does it work on Odoo Community and Enterprise?
Yes — both Community and Enterprise editions of Odoo 18 are supported. It is not available for Odoo Online (SaaS), since apps.odoo.com modules cannot be installed there; use Odoo.sh or an on-premise/hosted server.
Does the module compute IOL power itself?
It is a clinical documentation and workflow system: you record the biometry, the formula used — nine industry-standard options from SRK/T to Barrett Universal II and Kane — the constant, and the recommended lens and power from your biometer, keeping a full audit trail on the episode.
Can I restrict who edits the IOL catalog and master lists?
Yes. The Configuration menu (IOL Catalog, History Conditions, Complications) is gated to the Eye Clinic Manager security group, while clinicians work the day-to-day Cases, Examinations and Refractions worklists. Records are also facility-company scoped like the rest of the suite.
Does it handle multi-facility hospitals?
Yes. Every eye case is tied to a facility, and company scoping is derived from that facility, so hospital groups running several sites in one database keep each clinic's records separated under the shared HMS security model.
