Common questions

Which apps does it require?
It depends on AminiTech HMS Base and AminiTech HMS Ward. Required apps are added to your cart automatically at checkout, so a single purchase gives you everything needed to install.
Does it work on Odoo Community and Enterprise?
Yes — both Community and Enterprise editions of Odoo 18 are supported on self-hosted or Odoo.sh deployments. It is not available for Odoo Online (SaaS), which does not allow third-party modules.
Why not just create the database with demo data enabled?
The seed ships as regular module data, not Odoo demo data — so it loads on any database, including ones created without the demo flag. You get 78 curated records: a licensed facility, 4 departments, 5 role users, 10 patients with allergies, chronic conditions and insurance, 4 wards, 20 beds, 7 admissions and 5 appointments.
Should I install this on my production database?
No. It is built for demo, evaluation and training databases. Records are marked noupdate, so they will not be overwritten on upgrade, but seeded users and patients do not belong in a live hospital system.
