Mobile Money at the POS
Accept mobile money at the till — any wallet, one popup. The cashier taps Mobile Money, a request-to-pay lands on the customer's phone, and the till polls the rail itself until the network confirms. M-Pesa, MTN MoMo and Airtel Money all run through the same screen.
How often the till re-asks the network — for up to two minutes, then it tells the cashier plainly to check whether the money landed.
One receipt pays exactly one order. An atomic database claim and a unique-receipt constraint make a double-settle impossible, even under a race.
Rail-specific code in the till. Add MTN or Airtel later and the same popup, the same log and the same cashier habit carry over untouched.

This is the popup this app ships. The cashier types the customer’s number, taps Send Payment Prompt, and a request-to-pay lands on the phone — the customer approves with their own PIN, on their own device. The amount and provider are filled in from the order, so nothing is keyed in twice.
Sits beside Cash and Card, not instead
Mobile Money becomes a normal POS payment terminal. Add it to a register, point it at a provider, and cashiers pick it exactly the way they pick Cash or Card — no separate app, no retraining. Split payments still work: part cash, part mobile money, one order.
One prompt settles exactly one order
The till does not trust the network to tell it “paid”. It re-queries the rail every 3 seconds until the rail itself confirms, then claims that receipt atomically. A receipt is single-use, so the same payment can never be applied to a second order — even if two cashiers race.
Your keys live in the free Base, not here
This screen ships in the free Mobile Money Base app, and the POS payment method simply points at it. Set the rail, the environment and the merchant credentials once, hit Test Connection, and every register collects against it. Secrets stay manager-only — a cashier never sees them.
Till takings land with everything else
Every payment taken at the register writes into the shared Transactions ledger — rail, phone, amount, receipt and state, side by side with your other rails. This ledger ships in the free Base; the POS app feeds it, so reconciling the day’s takings is one list, not one export per network.
Live on the register this afternoon
Install the free Mobile Money Base, this app, and at least one paid rail connector (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money…). Then open the provider form the Base ships, pick your rail, paste your merchant credentials, and press Test Connection against Sandbox before you go live.
Create a POS payment method, set its terminal to Mobile Money, choose the provider you just tested, and add it to your register. Open a session and the button is there — the popup does the rest. No hardware, no extra terminal, no per-till setup.
