POS Order Notification
Real-time alerts the moment an order is saved, sent to the kitchen, printed, or synced. Your cashiers see exactly what happened — without walking to the printer or the kitchen to check.
A missed ticket should never be a silent surprise
When an order is sent, the only feedback most staff get is silence. POS Order Notification turns the print, Kitchen Display, and sync events the Point of Sale already fires into clear on-screen confirmation — so problems surface at the counter, not in an empty kitchen.
Print Acknowledgements
A toast confirms every successful print and names the printer — a printed ticket is never just assumed.
Failed-Print Alerts
A sticky red alert names any printer that fails — the cashier knows instantly, with no silent misses.
One-Tap Retry
A top-bar pill collects every failed print. Open it and retry one ticket — or all of them — without leaving the order.
Kitchen Acknowledgements
As the kitchen advances an order, a toast names the stage it reached — the front of house stays informed.
Automatic Escalation
An order the kitchen has not acknowledged in time escalates on its own and flags the table on the floor plan.
Live Sync Counter
A top-bar counter shows how many orders still need to reach the server, and clears with a confirmation toast.
Every order, accounted for
No printer drivers and no hardware setup. Activate the module and the notifications appear.
Failed prints, caught instantly
When a kitchen ticket fails to print, a sticky red alert names the printer and the order and stays on screen until someone deals with it. A silent failed print no longer means an empty kitchen and a waiting customer.
- ✔Names the printer — and the exact order that failed
- ✔Stays put — the alert holds until the failure is handled
- ✔Works on the floor plan — surfaces wherever the cashier is
- ✔No driver setup — it reports on the prints the POS already sends
One pill, every failed print
A red pill in the Point of Sale top bar collects every failed print and shows the count at a glance. Open it to review the full list, then retry an individual ticket — or retry them all at once.
- ✔Live count — the pill shows how many prints failed
- ✔Full list — open the pill to see every failed ticket
- ✔Retry one or all — resend a single ticket or clear them together
- ✔Stay in flow — never leave the order to fix a print
The kitchen has it — and you know
When the chef advances an order on the Kitchen Display, a toast tells the front of house — named by the stage the order reached. Staff get confirmation the kitchen has the order and where it stands, without walking over to check.
- ✔Named by stage — Ready, Completed, or your own stages
- ✔Real Kitchen Display integration — uses the screen the POS already runs
- ✔Front of house informed — no trips to the kitchen to check
- ✔Template-driven wording — the stage message reads your way
Orders never sit forgotten
When an order is sent to the kitchen but not acknowledged within the time you set, the Point of Sale raises a reminder right on the floor-plan screen and highlights the order's table — so staff can step in before the customer has to ask.
- ✔Your timeout — set how long is too long to wait
- ✔On the floor plan — the reminder appears where staff work
- ✔Table highlighted — the waiting order's table is flagged
- ✔Escalates — the longer it waits, the louder the warning
See exactly what is waiting
Order Notification works hand in hand with the Kitchen Display, so the tickets still to prepare — and how long each one has waited — are always clear to the team.
- ✔Always visible — the queue of tickets to prepare
- ✔Wait time clear — how long each order has been sitting
- ✔Nothing slips — slow tickets stand out before they go cold
- ✔One shared picture — kitchen and counter see the same thing
Know when the POS is caught up
A counter in the Point of Sale top bar shows how many orders are still waiting to sync to the server. It updates in real time and clears itself with a confirmation toast once everything is through.
- ✔Live count — orders not yet on the server, at a glance
- ✔Real-time — the counter updates as orders sync
- ✔Clears itself — a confirmation toast when everything is through
- ✔Network peace of mind — reassurance after a connection drop
Tune the print and failure alerts
Every part of Order Notification switches on or off in Point of Sale settings, and the toast wording is template-driven, so the messages read the way your team works.
- ✔Toggle each part — print toasts and the failed-print pill
- ✔Template wording — placeholders for printer and order
- ✔No developer needed — managed from the standard interface
- ✔Clear help text — every setting explains itself
Tune the kitchen and sync alerts
The kitchen acknowledgements, escalation timeout, optional sound cues, and the pending-sync counter are all configured from the same Point of Sale settings page.
- ✔Escalation timeout — set how long before an order escalates
- ✔Optional sound cues — chime on send, buzzer on a failure
- ✔Sync counter toggle — show the pending-sync count or hide it
- ✔Stage wording — the kitchen toast text is template-driven
