Track every invoice e-mail — and act on it
One dynamic dashboard that shows which customer invoices were e-mailed, which were not, and why a message failed — then lets you Send, Retry or Resend them in bulk, right there. Tested on Odoo 18 Community & Enterprise.
What You Get
Email History Dashboard
One row per customer invoice with its latest e-mail status — Sent, Not sent, Failed (bounce / exception) or Queued — plus the recipient, the send date, and the failure reason for anything that did not go out.
Status at a Glance
Color-coded e-mail badges next to a Draft / Posted / Cancelled invoice-state badge, so you instantly spot posted invoices that were never e-mailed — the ones quietly delaying your cash.
Send · Retry · Resend
Select invoices — or one-click "Select all Not-sent" — and send straight from the dashboard. Sending is routed through Odoo's native invoice-send, so your mail template, cc/bcc and attachments are all honored. A confirmation dialog shows a dry-run summary first.
E-mail Preview
Open any invoice's e-mail — subject, recipient, delivery status, reason and the rendered body — in one click. For invoices not yet sent, preview the message that would be sent from your invoice template.
Safe Test-Redirect + Audit Log
Rehearse a billing run on a live database without e-mailing real customers: set one system parameter and every outgoing message is redirected to your test address. Every Send / Retry / Resend run is recorded in an immutable Email Send Log (who, when, how many, outcome).
Filters & XLSX Export
Filter by date range, customer, invoice state, e-mail status, document type and company, search instantly, paginate, and export to XLSX for follow-up or reporting.

Status is read from Odoo's durable
per-recipient delivery log (mail.notification), so the
history survives even after the outgoing mail queue is vacuumed.
