Release Delivery from Sales Order

This module is tested in community & Enterprise versions 18.
Although we do want to confirm the Sales Order to reserve Inventory, we sometimes have additional Tasks that need to be completed before we release the delivery order: shipping the Delivery Order in stages (for large orders) so we want to split the Delivery Order into several before we release them. often we want to verify payment, or a deposit, or taxes - but don't want the inventory to be sold to others. in some cases we need additional documentation to ship with the products. we need to wait for the customer to tell us when they can accept delivery

  • Features :
    • The company wants to ensure payment (full, down payment, deposit, or required taxes) is verified before releasing the products — but still wants the inventory reserved and not sold to others.
    • Additional documents (e.g., export documents, compliance certificates, packing lists, special permits) must be prepared before products can be shipped.
    • For large or complex orders, the shipment must be divided into multiple smaller deliveries. The Delivery Order is held until the correct split or staging is planned.
Assign spesific user who can release delivery
Validate button is hide when the release toggle is not activated yet
Activate the release toggle in Sales Order
The Validate button is active
