Usage
This module helps manage petty cash transactions, reimbursements, and expense tracking.
To set up and use petty cash:
- Create Petty Cash accounts under Petty Cash > Petty Cash, assigning a holder, account, and journal.
- Use the Top Up action to add funds via a wizard that posts a journal entry.
- When creating expenses, select a petty cash account and set payment mode to 'Petty Cash'.
- Submit expenses, which auto-approves and posts if petty cash is selected.
- Monitor balances and review expenses from the petty cash form.
Notes:
- Balances are calculated as the sum of debit minus credit from posted account moves on the petty cash account.
- All expenses in a sheet must belong to the same petty cash if paid via petty cash.
- Insufficient balance prevents posting of expense sheets.
