Purchase Approval
Configurable multi-step purchase order approval workflow for Odoo 18
Key Features
- Configurable multi-step approval chain per company
- Amount threshold conditions per approval step
- Product category filters per step
- Activity-based notifications
- Rejection wizard with required reason
- Approval progress tracking on purchase orders
- Integrates with Odoo built-in two-step approval
How It Works
- Define approval steps in the company settings with specific approvers, amount thresholds, and product category filters
- When a purchase order is submitted for approval, the system determines the required approval steps based on the order amount and product categories
- Approvers receive activity-based notifications for pending approvals
- Track approval progress directly on the purchase order form
- Approvers can approve or reject with a required reason using the rejection wizard
- Once all required approvals are granted, the purchase order proceeds to the confirmed state
