Odoo 18 Website Product Browse History (Enterprise)

A module to track, display, and manage user product browsing history with view counts and purchase indicators.

Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo Enterprise edition but not tested in Community version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.

Features

  • Tracks every product a user visits and logs it with session, user, and timestamp.
  • Displays a browse history page with visited products and view counts.
  • Allows users to filter, delete individual products, or clear all browsing history.
  • Shows a “Purchased” badge on products after successful order confirmation.

How to use

  • Click on the History icon to view all recently browsed products with images and details.


  • The Browse History page displays visited products with view counts, an Add to Cart button, a delete icon to remove items, and a settings icon to toggle history storage.


  • Toggle the switch to enable or disable storing your browsing history..


  • The Delete History button in the popup will remove all your browsing history.


  • Use the filter to view your recent, weekly, or monthly browsing history.


  • A “Purchased” ribbon appears on products you’ve successfully bought, helping you quickly identify them in your browsing history.
