Website - Cash On Delivery(COD)

This Odoo app enables customers to purchase products using the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method, adding flexibility to your online store. It introduces a dedicated COD payment acquirer in the backend, where you can configure rules like minimum and maximum order amounts, product-specific COD conditions, and delivery policies. Additionally, you can customize delivery messages and estimated delivery times, ensuring a smooth shopping experience. This module is fully configurable, making it an ideal solution for businesses seeking to offer a convenient and trusted payment option.

Configure Payment Provider

Website --> Configuration --> Payment Providers

COD Payment Acquire

Cash On Delivery payment acquire option available.

Configuration COD Payment Method

User can view newly created 'COD Configuration' Tab.

Website Product View

The product page displays key details about the Cash on Delivery (COD) option, including which products are eligible, an availability message, the COD policy, and the expected delivery days.

Order Checkout Process

Users can add products to their cart and proceed to the order checkout process seamlessly.

COD Payment Option

On the payment page, users can view and select the Cash on Delivery (COD) option. After selecting COD, they can confirm their order by clicking Pay Now.

Payment Confirmation

After selection of COD payment method order will be confirm as per COD.

Sale Order

In the backend, a sales order is created with the COD payment acquirer, and a 'Cash Payment Collection' smart button is available for easy management.

Confirm COD Payment Collection

Once User will confirm COD payment collection it will be going to 'Done' stage.

COD Payment Collection Report

User can download the payment collection report with all details.

Order's Payment Transaction

Once the user completes the 'Cash Payment Collection', the payment transaction status will update to 'Confirmed'.

COD Not Available

For products where COD is not available, a message indicating that "This product is not available for the COD." will be displayed on the product page.

Product - Unavailable COD Order Checkout

Allow products with unavailable COD options to proceed through the order checkout process.

Amount/Product Validation

Display an error message if a product does not qualify for COD or if the order amount falls outside the configured range.
