Attendance Modification Request
Features:
The employees are coming on time but not able to check in on time as a result of such issues as an electrical outage, employees going on site, employees waiting outside the office, or a server down issue. In such cases, they can ask their managers or human resources to approve their requests for attendance modification, and then their attendance can be updated.
The application allows you to approve or reject attendance modification requests through the setting of approvals.
Notifications of attendance modification requests are sent by email to approvers, and employees are notified when attendance modification requests approvals have been received.
This module has tested in community and enterprise version 17.0
Attendance Modification Request Workflow

Once the installation has been completed, go to attendance Configuration and add approvers.

Here employee Shinefy came on 12th June at 10:00, but due to an electrical outage, was not able to check in on time, so let's send a request for attendance modification.

We need to select Employee, then select Type checkin because we want to update the checkin time so updated checkin time field is required.

If we select Type checkout updated checkout time field is required.

If we select Type Both updated checkout time and updated checkout time field is required.

The attendance records of only selected employees can be viewed.

For User Shinefy let's slelect attendance of 12th june and update checkin time and write a Attendance modification reason.

Once request sent for approval Approvers will be notified by email.

Notification Email to User Admin.

Send for approval button from list view.

The Approve and Reject button (inside list view) is visible only to Approvers. Here Admin user is added in approvers so he can see Approve and Reject button.

The Approve and Reject button (inside form view) is visible only to Approvers.

After the attendance modifications request is approved by the approver, it will move to approved state and employee can see which user approved the attendance.

If Approver reject request it will open wizard to enter Reject reason.

Rejected request will move to rejected stage and employee can see attendance is rejected by which user and reason.

Filtering attendance modification request by employee, waiting, approved, and rejected is easy.
