Week Selector Widget
Let users pick a whole week instead of hunting for a day. A year + week selector for any date field — it stores the first or last day of the chosen week.
Some things are planned by the week
Rotas, sprints, reports, payroll periods — many records belong to a week, not a specific day. This widget lets users think in weeks while the field still stores a clean, queryable date.
Pick a week, not a day
A year dropdown and a week dropdown replace the date picker. Each week is labelled Week 25 | 15/06/2026 so there is no guessing.
First or last day
Choose what gets stored: the first day (Monday) of the week by default, or the last day (Sunday) with a single option.
ISO-correct, always
Weeks follow ISO-8601 (Monday start, week 1 holds the first Thursday). 52- and 53-week years and leap years are handled automatically.
Two dropdowns, one clean date
The user selects a year and a week. Change the year and the week list rebuilds while the selected week is kept.
One attribute on any date field
