Spanish Cadastral Reference Lookup for Odoo Contacts
This module extends Odoo Contacts with integrated cadastral lookup tools for Spain, allowing users to identify, validate, and complete cadastral information directly from a partner address.
It is designed for companies that work with Spanish property addresses and need a practical way to retrieve cadastral references and related location data without leaving Odoo.
With this module you can:
- Search for a cadastral reference from a Spanish address stored on a contact
- Automatically fill in cadastral reference and UTM coordinate data when there is a clear match
- Handle multi-unit buildings through a guided selection wizard
- Improve matching by configuring street types, aliases, and address parsing rules
- Support addresses that include staircase, floor, door, and similar urban complements
Direct lookup from the contact form
Once the module is installed, users can work directly from the contact form. A dedicated Catastro tab stores the cadastral reference and UTM coordinates for the selected address, keeping relevant property data visible inside the contact record.
This makes the module especially useful for real estate, administration, legal, technical, and back-office teams that regularly work with Spanish addresses and need reliable cadastral data linked to partners.
Selection wizard for multi-unit properties
When a single address can correspond to several cadastral references, the module opens a selection wizard. This is particularly useful in apartment buildings, blocks with several floors and doors, or addresses where the user did not provide all the internal access details.
The wizard displays the available cadastral references together with useful details such as street type, street name, number, staircase, floor, door, and postal code, helping the user choose the correct unit quickly and safely.
Flexible configuration for real address formats
Address data is rarely entered in a perfectly standard way. For that reason, the module includes configurable parsing rules so it can better understand how users write block, staircase, floor, and door information in real-life addresses.
From Odoo Settings, administrators can define regex patterns for address complements. This allows the module to adapt to common formats such as floor-door combinations, staircase abbreviations, or internal access details used by different teams or clients.
Street type aliases
Different users may write the same street type in different ways. The module includes a configuration area where you can maintain aliases for each street type, making the cadastral search more tolerant and more accurate.
For example, the same street type can be recognised whether it appears as a full word, an abbreviation, or a regional variant. This helps standardise user input without forcing people to change how they normally write addresses.
Prefix management
The module also supports configurable prefixes such as articles and particles commonly found in Spanish street names. These prefixes can be maintained in Odoo and ordered by priority to improve how street names are normalised before querying cadastral services.
This is especially useful for names that may appear with forms such as del, de la, de los, or similar variations, helping the module match addresses more consistently.

- Reduced manual lookup work for Spanish addresses
- Better data quality for partner and property-related records
