Overview & Features
Mailbox Square brings a full mailbox experience into Odoo. Connect Gmail (OAuth), Microsoft 365/Outlook (Graph API), or any provider via IMAP/SMTP. Read and send mail, manage folders, use signatures, and monitor sync operations—all from one place.
1. Email Accounts & Providers
Add one or more email accounts per user. Support for Gmail (OAuth2), Outlook/Microsoft 365 (Graph API), and generic IMAP/SMTP webmail. Test connection before saving. Credentials stored securely.
2. Mailbox UI (Inbox / Sent / Drafts / Trash)
Familiar mailbox layout: folder list (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash, custom folders), message list with filters (all/unread, search), and reading pane. Switch between accounts from the toolbar.
3. Compose & Reply
Compose new emails, reply, reply-all, and forward. Rich HTML body, To/CC/BCC, attachments. Optional link to CRM Lead, Helpdesk Ticket, Project Task, or Partner for context.
4. Signatures
Create and manage multiple signatures per user. Choose a signature when composing. Supports HTML content for professional sign-offs.
5. Sync & Logs
Scheduled and manual sync for folders and messages. Sync logs record each run with status (success/error), message counts, and error details for troubleshooting.
6. Settings & Access Rights
Central settings for cron interval, notifications (if enabled), and OAuth app credentials (Gmail/Graph). Role-based access: users see their accounts; managers can configure global settings and view sync logs.
