Overview
Reprint Duplicate Label for PDF Reports
This feature allows users to display a custom identification text (such as “Duplicate”,
“Reprint Copy”, or “Customer Copy”) on reprinted PDF reports. It ensures that when
a user reprints a document, it is clearly marked as a duplicate, improving document control
and preventing confusion between original and reprinted copies.
The text displayed can be easily configured from the General Settings menu in Odoo.
This feature allows users to display a custom identification text (such as “Duplicate”,

Configuration
1. Navigate to Settings --> General Settings.
2. Locate the section “Reprint Duplicate PDF Report Settings”.
3. Four configuration checkboxes are available for enabling duplicate text for specific documents:
- Enable Reprint Duplicate PDF For Sale Order
- Enable Reprint Duplicate PDF For Purchase Order
- Enable Reprint Duplicate PDF For Invoice
- Enable Reprint Duplicate PDF For Pickings
4. Enable the checkbox for the desired document type.
5. Enter the duplicate text (e.g., “Duplicate Copy”) in the provided text field.
6. Save the configuration.
Enable the option “Enable Reprint Duplicate PDF For Sale Order”.
Enter a text value such as “Duplicate Copy”.
When a user reprints a confirmed Sale Order, the PDF footer will automatically display the configured text clearly identifying it as a reprinted document.
