BEFIANA SMS
Free SMS gateway for Madagascar — BEFIANA API + automatic Odoo IAP fallback
What it does
BEFIANA SMS replaces Odoo's standard IAP SMS provider with the
BEFIANA API for Madagascar phone numbers
(prefixes +261, 034, 033, etc.) — at a competitive
65 Ar / SMS via Orange / Yas / Airtel local operators. International numbers
keep flowing through Odoo IAP automatically — no service disruption.
Works out of the box with: Mass mailing SMS, OTP login, partner notifications, automatic reminders, and any other Odoo SMS surface.

(préfixes +261, 034, 033, etc.) — avec un coût compétitif
de 65 Ar / SMS et un routage par les opérateurs locaux Orange, Yas et Airtel.
Les numéros internationaux continuent à passer par Odoo IAP, sans rupture de service.
Fonctionnalités
Routage automatique
Inspection du numéro à l'envoi : préfixe (+261, 034…) ou
pays du contact (res.partner.country_id) — décision sans intervention humaine.
Fallback Odoo IAP
Les numéros hors Madagascar passent automatiquement par le provider IAP standard d'Odoo. Aucun SMS perdu, aucune configuration manuelle de bascule.
3 modes de routage
all : tout via BEFIANA · filter : préfixe/pays (recommandé) · none : désactivé (fallback total IAP).
Mass Mailing SMS
Compatible avec mass_mailing_sms — campagnes batch, segmentation
par préfixe ou pays, états de livraison reportés à Odoo.
OTP & notifications
Toutes les surfaces SMS d'Odoo sont prises en charge : OTP de connexion, vérifications, notifications partenaires, rappels automatiques.
Sender Name BEFIANA
Par défaut, l'expéditeur affiché est « BEFIANA » (réservé OTP / notifications techniques). Personnalisation possible auprès de BEFIANA — voir ci-dessous.

Workflow d'envoi
- Action utilisateur — composer SMS, mass mailing, OTP, ou notification automatique.
- sms.sms créé — Odoo persiste le SMS et appelle
_split_by_api. - Override BEFIANA — le module retourne
BefianaSmsApiau lieu de l'IAP standard. - Routage — inspection numéro / pays, split entre paquets BEFIANA et paquets IAP.
- Appel BEFIANA —
POST api.befiana.cloud/api/smsko/v1/send/avec phone_number normalisé. - Réponse mappée — 200 → success, 402 → insufficient_credit, 400 → wrong_number_format.
- État final — écrit dans sms.sms, visible dans l'interface utilisateur Odoo.
