Advance Reordering Rules enhances Odoo’s standard inventory management by offering more flexible and customisation reordering options. Users can create reordering rules for individual products or entire product categories, tailoring stock levels to actual demand. The module allows configuration of key parameters like minimum and maximum stock levels, safety stock, and average daily demand. This helps businesses maintain optimal inventory, reducing the risk of stockouts or excess stock and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
Advance Reordering Rule with Product and Product Category
The Advance Reordering Rule with Product and Product Category enables reordering at the category level, simplifying inventory management.
Average Daily Demand and Safety Stock Calculation
Automatically calculate the Average Daily Demand by dividing total sales by product days and calculate Safety Stock by multiplying average daily demand by the Customer Lead Time.
Advance Reordering Rule For Product Configuration
Under Inventory > Configuration > Settings menu user can find Advance Reordering Rule. User have to enable boolean for advance reordering rule and select Reordering rule with product for applying reordering rule for product variants.
Reordering Rules For Products
Under Inventory > Operations > Replenishment menu user have can create a replenishment for products on clicking on New button.
User can see the created replenishment for Products also user can see the Safety Stock and Average Daily Demand for Products.
Safety stock is calculated as the Average Daily Demand multiplied by the Customer Lead Time. The Average Daily Demand is determined by dividing the Total Sales by the Total Number of Days.
Advance Reordering Rule For Product Category Configuration
Under Inventory > Configuration > Settings menu user can find Advance Reordering Rule. User have to enable boolean for advance reordering rule and select Reordering rule with product category for applying reordering rule for product categories.
User can see the created replenishment for Product Category. In Product User can only see the product of the selected product category.
