CRM Duplicate Lead Detector is a simple yet powerful module that helps you manage and prevent duplicate leads and customer records in your CRM. It works by checking key fields like name, email, phone number, company, and others using configurable matching rules. You can set soft or strict criteria to decide how duplicates should be identified. When a duplicate is found, the system can either warn the user or block the creation of the record entirely. Duplicate leads or customers are clearly shown through smart buttons on the form, visual tags in the Kanban view, and a duplicate count in list view. There’s also a filter called “Potential Duplicate” to quickly find and review all entries that may be duplicates. This keeps your CRM data clean, helps sales teams avoid confusion, and ensures better communication with clients by avoiding repeated or redundant records.
CRM Duplicates Configuration
User can configure CRM duplicates for leads or opportunities and contacts.
Soft and Rigid Criteria for Duplication
User can use soft criteria to view occurred duplication and use rigid criteria to restrict or avoid creation of duplicate.
Duplication Detection Using Storable Fields
User can detect duplication using char, text, many2one, selection, date and datetime, integer, and float fields.
Filter By Potential Duplicates
User can apply 'Potential Duplicates' filter to find duplication in leads or opportunities and contacts.
Easily Count Number of Duplicates
User can easily count number of duplication of lead or opportunity and contacts using duplicate count field.
Visibility Views of Duplicates Count
User have option to hide or show duplicates counts and potential duplicate for leads or opportunities and contacts.

Under CRM > Configuration > Settings in that select fields duplicates for leads and opportunities.
User have option to select fields to allowed duplication in lead and opportunities.
User have option to select fields to do not allowed duplication in lead and opportunities.

User can view the smart button of 'Duplicates' in leads form view.

User can apply 'Potential Duplicates' filter to find duplication in an opportunity.
Validation Error
When user enter duplicate data in rigid criteria fields, Validation error raised and can't save leads or opportunity.
Duplicate Count in Tree View
User can easily count number of duplication of lead or opportunity using duplicate count field.

User have option to enable 'Consider only without parent as duplicates' option to searched only without parent and count potential duplicates.

User can apply 'Potential Duplicates' filter to find duplication in contact.
Validation Error
When user enter duplicate data in rigid criteria fields, Validation error raised and can't save contact.

User can easily count number of duplication of contacts using duplicate count field.
CRM Duplicates Configuration
Under CRM > Configuration > Settings in that use visibility views option.
User have visibility option to enable/disable 'Do not show in crm duplicates count (tree and kanban view)' option to the potential duplicates field will be not shown on kanban and tree views.
User have visibility option to enable/disable 'Do not show in crm duplicates count (form view)' option to the potential duplicates field will be not shown on form view.
