Customer wise Data Lock from Other Users allows businesses to restrict access to customer records and sales orders, ensuring that only authorized users can view or modify specific data. This module introduces a PIN-based access control system, requiring users to enter a PIN when accessing customer-related records in Sales, Invoices, and other relevant modules. A designated setting in user permissions grants specific users the ability to create and manage customer PINs. Additionally, an access log tracks failed PIN attempts, recording which users attempted unauthorized access. This functionality enhances data security, prevents unauthorized access to sensitive customer information, and maintains confidentiality between sales teams handling different clients.
Customer-wise Data Lock
If a user attempts to create or modify a record using a customer with an active PIN, the system will prompt for the PIN before proceeding.
Incorrect PIN Log
If an incorrect PIN is entered, the system will log the failed attempt and deny access to the customer record.
Customer-Wise Data Lock Access Rights
Under Settings > Users & Companies > Users menu user can need to enable Customer Wise Data Lock to access customer wise data from other users feature.
Create New Contact / customer
User need to create new contact and add PIN to lock there data and records from other users.
Customer PIN Confirmation Authentication Pop-Up
If any user try to access any record of customer a pop-up will open where user need to enter customer PIN to access record.
User can see customer record after entering correct PIN.
Warning / Validation
If the user enters an incorrect PIN to access a customer record, a validation error will occur.

The Customer PIN Confirmation Authentication feature prompts users to enter the customer's PIN before creating any record (e.g., Sales Order, Invoice, etc.) linked to that customer

The Customer PIN Confirmation Prompt for Access Record requires users to enter the customer's PIN before accessing any customer-related record.
Warning / Validation
If the user enters an incorrect PIN to access or create a customer record, a validation error will occur.
Incorrect PIN Logs Menu
Under sales > Configuration > Incorrect Pin Logs menu user can see Incorrect PIN Logs track and log failed attempts to access customer data with an incorrect PIN, capturing details like user, timestamp, and model.
