Track Website Activity using Google Analytics 4 Odoo App
Google Analytics with Odoo eCommerce app enables users to track and analyse website activity, offering valuable insights to enhance site performance. It helps visualise visitor behaviour, page navigation, and user actions, supporting better decision-making and marketing strategies.
Internal Tracking Logs
Customer eCommerce events should be tracking and generate internal logs.
Activate Debug Mode
User have option to activate debug mode and track the events on Odoo log.
Display Tracking Logs in Report
User can see the tracking logs in pivot and graph report.
CleanUp Internal Tracking Logs
User have option to configure log cleanup period to delete log entries.
E-Commerce Tracking Configuration
Goto Website -> Configuration -> Settings in that enable "Activate Tracking" checkbox to track the eCommerce customer events on the website.
User have option to enable "Debug Logging" checkbox for track the events on Odoo log.
Tracking Services Menu
Under website configuration, User can view the list of created tracking services.
Create Tracking Service
User can create 3 types of tracking service as a "Google analytical4", "Google Tag" and "Google Tag Manager".
User have option to select tracking service item type as "Product Template ID" and "Product ID".
User can enable toggle button of "Internal Logs" and "Debug Mode" for eCommerce events tracking.
Under "Advance Matching" tab, User can enable fields to specify customer data should be track.
Customers eCommerce events should be tracking on Odoo debug mode.
Tracking eCommerce events like a view item list, view item, add to cart, remove from cart, view cart, add shipping info, add payment info, add to wishlist, login, being checkout, generate lead, purchase, search and signup.
Tracking Logs Menu
Under website configuration user can view the tracking logs menu to view the customers eCommerce events tracking logs.
Pivot View of Tracking Logs
User can view the tracking logs of generating events in pivot view.
Graph View of Tracking Logs
List View of Tracking Logs
User can view the list of tracking logs of generating events.
User can see the form view of the tracking logs based on event type.
Under "payload" tab, User can view the specific event data with value.
Configure Clean Up Period for Internal Tracking Logs
User can configure or set cleanup period(days) to delete log entries.
