RFQ Price Editing from Customer Portal

Enable RFQ Price Adjustments from Portal

RFQ Cost Modification via Portal User Access

Update RFQ Unit Price from Portal Odoo App enhances the vendor interaction process by allowing portal users to modify and update unit prices directly from the portal when responding to a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This feature provides vendors with greater flexibility and efficiency in negotiating prices, reducing back-and-forth communication and expediting the procurement cycle. Businesses can streamline the supplier quotation process by enabling real-time price adjustments, ensuring that pricing remains competitive and up-to-date. The app improves transparency and collaboration between businesses and suppliers, leading to better vendor relationships and optimized purchasing decisions. By allowing portal users to suggest price changes directly within the system, companies can enhance their procurement workflow, minimize manual price modifications, and reduce administrative overhead.

User-Friendly Portal Interface

Portal users can view the RFQ details assigned to them and edit the unit prices for line items directly from the portal, simplifying the process of price negotiation or updates.

Controlled Access

Only portal users linked to the RFQ as suppliers can update the unit prices, ensuring secure and relevant access.

Backend Integration

Once a portal user updates the unit price, the changes are reflected in the backend RFQ view for managers or procurement officers to review and validate.

Customizable Workflow

The app supports custom workflows to define whether changes require approval before being reflected in the final RFQ or are updated immediately.

Create New User

Under Settings > Users & Companies**, users can access the "Users" menu. From here, they can create new users and assign them the "Portal" access type.

In the **Preferences** tab, there is a field called **PO Edit Access**. Users can enable this field to allow editing of purchase orders.

Create Request For Quotation

Here, the user can create a new RFQ for the newly created user and then send an email with the purchase order details.

Compose Email

When the user clicks on Send by Email, the Compose Email wizard opens, allowing the user to send the purchase order to the newly created user.

RFQ Sent Stage

When the user clicks on **Send**, the stage changes to **RFQ Sent**, and an activity log note is created with the email details, including the PO PDF attachment.

When the new user logs in, they can view the RFQ created for them in the Portal.

RFQ List View

Here, the user can view the RFQ and also update the unit price of the RFQ.

When the user views the RFQ on the backend, the updated unit price is reflected.
