POS Stock Details with Validation Odoo Apps

POS-Point of Sale Stock Double Validation Odoo App is used to display product stock details in the POS interface. Users can select and display different types of stock details such as "Qty on hand", "Forecasted Qty", "Incoming Qty", "Outgoing Qty", "Qty Available" in POS with allow/deny POS order when product is out of stock. Users are able to hide out of stock products on the pos screen via easy click on configuration check box. Users can configure POS double stock validation setup from the pos session, once "Order Validation" configuration setup and if your selected product on session is out of stock and tries to validate order shows validation message and doesn't allow placing pos order. If "Payment" validation configuration is set up once payment button hits at that time validation message will popup for out of stock products. When a user checks on "Allow POS Order When Product is Out of Stock" Checkbox, then the user can validate all products which stock is available or not as per Odoo normal flow.

POS Order Stock Validation Odoo apps is used to display stock details in POS interface also the seller can select and display different type of stock like "Qty on hand", "Incoming Qty", "Outgoing Qty", "Qty Available" in POS and Allow/Deny POS sale Order when product is out of stock. You can display stock of All & Specific stock locations in POS. Also Stock will be automatically sync when order gets placed in Odoo POS inventory management App.



Allow POS Order When Product is Out of Stock

User can validate POS order if stock is available or not as per odoo normal flow.

Shows Custom Validation in as per the Stock Availability

Display of Different type of custom validation messages in POS interface based on stock availability.

Gives Allowance as well as Denial

User can set the Unit, Deny order when quantity goes down to set unit. Allow/Deny POS Order when product is out of stock.

Hide Out of Stock Products

User can hide out of stock products by tick on checkbox.

POS Double Stock Validation

When user tick on "POS Double Stock Validation" checkbox it will double check and notifies the user if the selected product goes out of stock during a running POS session.

Stock for POS Screen

User can select and display different stock type like "Qty on hand", "Forcasted Qty", "Incoming Qty", "Outgoing Qty", "Qty Available" in POS.

POS Stock Double Validation Configuration

Under Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings menu user need to enable "Display Stock in POS" option to see stock for product on point of sale screen.

User can also select "Stock Type" option as "Qty on Hand, Forecasted Qty, Incoming Qty, Outgoing Qty, Qty Available" and as selected product stock will displayed on pos screen.


User can write "Custom Message", set "Deny POS Order When Product Qty is goes down to" and also select "Apply Check On" which is Payment and Order Validation.


Qty on Hand

User see total on hand quantity of product, if product is out of stock it will be red.


If user add pos product quantity more than available quantity in order line for a particular product and click on "Payment" button, Warning raised with custom message.


Apply Check On as "Order Validation"

User can select "Stock Type" option as "Forecasted Qty" and "Apply Check On" option as "Order Validation".


Forecasted Qty

User see total forecasted qty of product.



If user add pos product quantity more than available quantity in order line for a particular product and click on "Validate" button, Warning raised with custom message.


Tick on "Hide Out of Stock Products" Checkbox

User can tick on "Hide Out of Stock Products" checkbox and select "Stock Type" option as "Qty On Hand".


User can see hide out of stock products in pos screen, only show products which qty is available.


POS Double Stock Validation Configuration

User can select session and tick on "POS Double Stock Validation" option.

Whenever validation on "Order Validation" is selected, and product selected in session, and then when tried to validate at that time if it is out of the stock then message will be there, also if selected on "Payment" then also when payment button hit at that time message will popup for stock.


User can select another session and tick on "POS Double Stock Validation" option.


Select Product with qty and validate it for shop.



Simultaneously Select that Product with qty in shop(demo) .


When click on "Payment" button, raised warning with custom validation message.


Tick on "Allow POS Order When Product is Out of Stock" Checkbox

When user tick on "Allow POS Order When Product is Out of Stock" Checkbox, then user can validate all products which stock is available or not as per odoo normal flow.
