Private Notes is an Odoo module that lets users add internal, personal notes to projects, tasks, helpdesks, sales, purchases, and any other module with a chatter feature. These notes are visible only to the user who created them and are not shared with others. This allows users to keep track of personal reminders or sensitive information without adding clutter to shared communication or logs, helping maintain privacy while staying organized.
Auto-Save Private Notes
Notes are automatically saved as you leave the task, No manual saving is required.
User-Specific Visibility
Each note is visible only to the user who created it. ensuring complete privacy.
Copy Functionality
Users can easily copy their notes with a dedicated copy option for quick reference or sharing outside the module.
Resizable
"The notes section is vertically resizable, allowing users to adjust the height while the width remains fixed."
Private Notes In Chatter
User can see Private Notes Section in Chatter.
Users can add their notes in the private notes section for internal use only. The notes are automatically saved, so there's no need to manually save anything.
Click on next page button.
Users can see that private notes are only visible within the current task or order and will not carry over to the next sales order.
Minimize Private Notes
User can minimize their private notes by clicking on '-' button.
Click on the highlighted button to reopen the Private Notes.
Copy Private Notes
User can copy their private notes by clicking on copy button.
Text Copy To Clipboard Pop Up Message
User can see "Text copied to clipboard" pop-up message will appear after clicking on copy button. Click on highlighted cancel button to close the Private Notes.
Users can only view the notes they’ve created. Notes created by other users will not be visible to them.
The private notes section is draggable in terms of height, allowing users to adjust its size. The width remains fixed.
