Create & Print Custom Barcodes for Products
Easily generate and print product barcodes with the Product Barcode Generator module. With user-level access control, this tool adds a dedicated barcode generator menu where you can select products, choose or update pricelists, and generate barcodes instantly. The generated barcode can be used in the POS system by pasting it into debug mode and scanning to display the product with the selected price. A built-in wizard also lets you choose specific fields to print on barcode labels, offering full customization for your barcode stickers. Ideal for retail, sales, and inventory operations where fast and accurate product identification is essential.

Barcode Generator
Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users, and enable the Barcode Generator field. This will make the Barcode Generator menu visible under the Products menu.
Barcode Generator List View
In the Inventory module, under the Products menu, the Barcode Generator menu is available. In this menu, users can view the Product Barcode Generator list view.
Generating a New Product Barcode
To generate a new product barcode, the user selects a product, chooses a pricelist, and clicks the Internal Link button to set the product price.
Now, the user can add the selected product to the price rule.
Create Price Rule Wizard
The user can select a product, set the product price, specify the minimum quantity, and choose the price type.
In the Product Barcode Generator form view, the price is set as per the selected pricelist. The user can then click the Generate Barcode button to generate the barcode.
Here, the user can see the generated barcode.
In the Point Of Sale (POS), the user can open debug mode from the configuration.
In the Barcode Scanner input field, the user can enter the product barcode and click the Scan button to add the product to the cart.
In the Product Barcode Generator form view, when the user clicks the Action button, a menu option Barcode Generator is available. From this menu, the user can print the barcode.
Configuring and Printing Barcode
When the user clicks on Barcode Generator, the Barcode Generator Wizard opens. In this wizard, the user can enable the fields they want to include in the report and then click the Print Barcode button to generate the barcode print.
