How it works

From install to first payment in under 10 minutes.

Install the module

Drop bl_payment_moyasar into your addons folder, restart Odoo, and install it from Apps.

Add your API keys

Open the Moyasar provider, paste your publishable and secret keys, and (optionally) a webhook secret.

Add the webhook

In the Moyasar dashboard, point a webhook at /payment/moyasar/webhook for reliable confirmations.

Enable & sell

Set the provider to Enabled. Moyasar now appears at checkout for your customers to pay.

Security

Trust the server, never the redirect.

Payment fraud usually starts with a tampered redirect. This module never marks an order paid based on what the browser says — it calls Moyasar back to confirm.

Re-fetched status

After every notification, Odoo issues a GET /invoices/{id} to read the authoritative state straight from Moyasar.

Amount & currency check

The verified invoice amount and currency are matched against the Odoo transaction before it is ever set to done.

Verified webhooks

Dashboard webhooks are validated against your secret token with a constant-time compare. No PAN is ever stored in Odoo.

Do I need a Moyasar account?

Yes. Create a merchant account at moyasar.com, then copy your publishable key (pk_) and secret key (sk_) into the provider form in Odoo.

Can I test before going live?

Absolutely. Use your Moyasar test keys with the provider in Test Mode to run the full checkout flow, then switch to your live keys when you are ready.

Which payment methods are supported?

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), the Saudi mada network, Apple Pay, and STC Pay — all through Moyasar’s hosted checkout. You choose which to enable.

Is it secure? Where is card data handled?

Card details are entered only on Moyasar’s PCI-DSS compliant hosted page — never in Odoo. The final payment status is re-fetched from the Moyasar API, and webhooks are verified against your secret token.

Does it work with Community and Enterprise?

Yes — Odoo 18.0 Community, Enterprise, and Odoo.sh are all supported. The module depends only on the standard payment app.
