BOG Payment Gateway Configuration

To start accepting payments through the Bank of Georgia (BOG) Payment Gateway, follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable BOG Payment Provider

If You Have Installed the Accounting Module:

  1. Go to Accounting → Configuration → Payment Providers.
  2. Find BOG Payment Provider and click on it.

  1. Enable it by switching the status to "Enabled".

  1. Fill in the required fields:
  • BOG Client ID – Your unique identifier from BOG
  • BOG Secret Key – A secure key provided by BOG
  • BOG Callback URL – URL for payment status updates

Step 2: Activate BOG as a Payment Method

  1. Go to Configuration → Payment Methods.
  2. Clear the default filter and search for BOG Payment.
  3. Enable it using the toggle switch.
Important: You cannot activate the BOG Payment Method unless the BOG Payment Provider is enabled first.

Step 3: Configure Currencies

  1. While in Accounting → Configuration → Payment Providers → BOG Payment Provider, navigate to the Configuration tab.
  2. Select Accepted Currencies – Choose which currencies your business will accept for payments.

Once done, your customers will be able to pay via BOG Payment Gateway when making a purchase or paying an invoice. 🎉

Installing BOG from zip

Prerequisites

Before installing the module, ensure that you have:

  • • Odoo >= 17.0 installed and running.
  • • Python 3.10+ installed.
  • • Proper permissions to install Python packages and modify Odoo configurations.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Download the module

  1. Purchase or download the module from the Odoo Marketplace.
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
  3. Move the module folder to your Odoo custom addons directory:
    mv your_module_name /odoo/custom_addons

Step 2: Install Required Dependencies

Your module requires external Python libraries that need to be installed via pip.

  1. Navigate to your Odoo environment:
    cd /odoo/custom_addons/your_module_name
  2. Install dependencies using pip:
    pip install -r requirements.txt
  3. If you are using a virtual environment, activate it before running the install:
    source /path/to/venv/bin/activate
