Publish internal announcements, policy updates, events, leadership messages, employee notices, and automated greetings from one clean Odoo HR notice board.

Overview

Digital Notice Board helps HR, Admin, and Management teams publish official communication inside Odoo. It supports announcement, event, policy, leadership, and employee announcement notice types with publish and expiry dates.

Employees see active notices from the Odoo backend systray. Managers can also send email notifications, review delivery logs, and let scheduled actions archive expired notices automatically.

Employee Experience

Email and Greetings

Managers can enable email notification when publishing a notice. The module sends emails to the selected employees and records sent, skipped, or failed delivery logs.

How To Use

1. After installation, go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users.
2. Open the HR/Admin user and enable the Digital Notice Manager access group.
3. Go to Employees → Digital Notice Board → Notices.
4. Click New and enter the notice title.
5. Select the notice type: announcement, event, policy, leadership, or employee announcement.
6. Set publish date, expiry date, and optional event or policy information.
7. Select the recipients: all employees, departments, specific employees, or work locations.
8. Add a short summary and write the full notice content.
9. Enable Send Email Notification if employees should receive the notice by email.
10. Click Publish. Employees can then read it from the systray notice icon.
11. Use Delivery Logs to review notice email, birthday, and anniversary notification status.

Installation

1. Download the module from the Odoo App Store.
2. Place the bs_digital_notice folder in your Odoo addons directory.
3. Restart the Odoo server and update the Apps list.
4. Go to Settings → Apps, search for Digital Notice Board, and click Install.
5. Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users, open the required user, and assign the Digital Notice Manager security group.
6. Refresh the browser if the Digital Notice Board menu is not visible immediately.
