Our new module introduces a feature that adds an edit button on the form view, allowing users to easily toggle between view mode and edit mode.
Current Issue
In Odoo 17, users can easily edit fields on the form view. While this provides convenience, it also poses some issues related to errors when users can change information too easily without confirmation.
Solution
Our module offers an intelligent solution by adding an edit button on the form view. This button allows users to toggle between read mode and edit mode, similar to older versions of Odoo. When in read mode, the fields on the form are locked and cannot be edited, protecting information from unwanted changes. When editing is needed, users simply click the edit button to unlock the fields and proceed with their changes.
