Configuration
Getting the Secret Key from Moyasar
Log in to your Moyasar account, go to Settings , and then select the API Keys menu.
You will see both Live Keys and Test Keys. Since I'm using the Test environment, I will copy both the Test Publishable Key and the Secret Key.
Setting Up the Moyasar Payment Acquirer in Odoo
In Odoo, go to the Accounting menu, then navigate to Configuration >> Payment Acquirers >> Moyasar Payment Gateway. Paste the copied Publishable Key, Secret Key into the designated fields. Make sure to select the correct payment journal and publish the acquirer, so it becomes available on your website.
Detailed Flow
Website Order Payment via Moyasar
Customers can place orders directly on the Odoo website. On the payment page, they will see an option to pay using Moyasar. After clicking the "Pay" button, we embed the Moyasar payment page directly into the Odoo payment form. The user can then enter their credit card details and click the PAY button.
Next, the user is redirected to the Moyasar portal to confirm the payment. (Since we're using the test environment, the user can choose the transaction status, such as successful, failed, cancelled, or authentication successful. I am selecting "Account Verification Successful.") In the live environment, this step is automatic. If the user enters correct credit card details, the payment will be successful, and the user will see a success message in Odoo.

Under the Invoicing >> Configuration >> Payment >> Payment Transaction, you can view the payment transaction details.

Refund Payment
Users can refund payments directly from Odoo. To do this, go to Invoicing >> Customers >> Payments , select the payment you want to refund, and click the Refund button. A popup will appear where you can enter the amount to refund (either full or partial). After entering the amount, click the Refund button to process the refund.
The refunded amount will be processed, and a new refund record will be created in the account transactions with the prefix "R-" (this is the default Odoo flow). You can also see the refunded amount in the Moyasar portal, linked to the payment transaction.
