Carbon Emission Maintenance Integration
This module integrates Odoo Maintenance with Carbon Emission Governance.
When a maintenance request is moved to a done stage, the module can create a draft carbon.emission.record with source traceability to that request.
It is designed for maintenance-related emissions such as:
- equipment runtime interventions,
- maintenance activity effort,
- service operations tracked by duration.

Configuration
In Carbon Governance settings:
- Enable Carbon from Maintenance Events.
- Configure default Scope and Category for maintenance activities.
- Optionally set a default Factor.
- Set default maintenance Activity UoM (for example Hours).
- Optionally enable Submit Carbon Records Automatically.
In Maintenance app:
- Create or edit equipment categories and enable Enable Carbon Trigger on categories that should create carbon records when maintenance requests are done.
Make sure maintenance users fill meaningful duration on maintenance requests, because duration is used as emission activity quantity.
Usage
- Create a maintenance request and set duration.
- Move the request to a done stage (for example Repaired).
- The module creates a draft carbon emission record linked to that request.
- If auto-submit is enabled, the record is submitted automatically.
- Review records in Carbon Emission Governance and continue governance workflow.
