Plug your Australia Post Shipping & Tracking API credentials into Odoo's standard delivery framework and quote, ship, label and track without leaving the warehouse. Credentials stay in your database — nothing is routed through a third party.
Live + offline rate shopping
Quote against the official /prices/items endpoint, or use the
built-in offline estimator that mirrors AusPost mechanics: cubic/volumetric
weight, domestic zone resolution by postcode, fuel surcharge and 10% GST.

Shipments & labels
Create single- or multi-parcel shipments with Extra Cover, Signature on Delivery and Authority to Leave. Generate labels in PDF, ZPL or EPL across A4, A6 and thermal 4x6 layouts, returned as a downloadable document.
Parcel tracking
Batched article lookups (10 per call, as the API allows), full scan-event history and a clean canonical delivery status. A scheduled action refreshes in-transit parcels automatically every few hours.
Pre-flight validation
Addresses, postcodes, states and parcel weight/size limits are checked before submission, so you get clear, actionable errors instead of opaque API rejections. Every call is recorded in a searchable API log.
How it works
- Create an Australia Post delivery method and paste your API key, secret and account number.
- Pick a default service (Parcel Post, Express Post, Courier Post or International) and label layout.
- Quote on the sales order, validate the delivery, and the label + tracking number are created automatically.
- Tracking status refreshes on a schedule, or on demand from the transfer.
Bring Your Own Key
This module talks only to the Australia Post endpoint you configure, using the credentials you supply. The production and test base URLs are editable fields, so you stay in full control of where your shipment data goes.
