All POS Orders List — History, Reprint & Audit
by Cerevantix Technologies https://cerevantix.com$ 27.02
Find, reprint, and audit every POS order without leaving the register.
A searchable order history built into the POS â reprint any receipt as a PDF, see who reprinted what and when, and preview line items before you print. No more digging through the backend mid-shift.
Vanilla POS treats every order as disposable â cashiers can't reprint a receipt, check what a customer bought, or investigate a disputed charge without abandoning the register and hunting through the backend. There is no search, no line-item preview, and no record of who reprinted what.
A searchable order history menu lists every past order with a line-item preview and reprint count. One click reprints the original receipt as a PDF, logs who did it and when, and warns on rapid re-prints â right from the POS TicketScreen or the backend.
Everything you need to find, reprint, and audit an order
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Centralized Order History
Browse every validated POS order in one searchable list — list and pivot views included, filterable by reprint status.
Line-Item Preview
See up to five items per order directly in the list — no need to open the record to check what is inside.
Auditable Reprint Trail
Every reprint is logged with who reprinted it, when, and in what format — full accountability for managers.
One-Click PDF Reprint
Re-issue the original receipt as a formatted PDF, preserving line items, taxes, and a payment method breakdown.
Rapid Re-print Warning
A configurable duplicate-print window flags accidental repeat reprints before they waste paper.
Reprint Count at a Glance
See how many times each order has been reprinted, straight from the order list and form.
In-POS Reprint Badge
The POS TicketScreen shows a "Reprinted N×" badge and logs every reprint automatically — no backend trip required.
Configurable Settings
Turn reprint tracking on or off and set the duplicate-print window in seconds, right from Settings.

Frequently asked
Does this replace the standard POS receipt printing?
No — it adds a searchable order history, an auditable reprint trail, and one-click PDF reprint on top of standard POS printing. Nothing about checkout changes.
Can cashiers reprint receipts, or only managers?
Any POS user can reprint and browse order history. The reprint audit log itself is manager-only, so accountability records stay protected.
Does it work with orders from previous POS sessions, not just the active one?
Yes. The order history menu shows every validated order across all sessions, not just the one currently open.
Is thermal-printer reprinting or reorder included?
This release focuses on the searchable history, PDF reprint, and audit trail — the differentiators no competitor combines in one module. Thermal hardware reprint and reorder are on the roadmap.
