Make every list view work the way you do
Show or hide columns, rename headers and reorder fields on any Odoo list — then save the result as a named, per-user layout you can switch back to in one click.
Odoo list views ship with a fixed set of columns in a fixed order, chosen by developers, not the people who scan them all day. Sales reps, accountants and warehouse staff waste time scrolling past irrelevant fields and hunting for the one record they need, and there is no self-service way to fix it without a billable change request.
List View Manager lets every user personalize any list view — hide columns, rename headers, reorder fields — and save the result as a named, per-user layout that never touches what colleagues see. Managers can publish shared and company-default layouts so best-practice views spread without anyone rebuilding them by hand.
Everything you need to tame a busy list
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Show or hide any column
Turn off fields you never look at so a list shows only the data that matters to your workflow.
Rename column headers
Relabel any header to match your team's own vocabulary instead of the generic field name.
Drag-and-drop reordering
Put the columns you check first where your eyes land first, using a simple drag handle.
Save named layouts
Keep multiple layouts per model, like "Pipeline review" or "Reconciliation view", and switch between them instantly.
Non-destructive, per-user by default
Every layout is personal unless explicitly shared, so your changes never alter what colleagues see on a shared database.
Admin-defined default layouts
Managers can publish a company-default layout for a model so every new user starts from a sensible baseline.
Team layout sharing
Publish a shared layout so a whole team benefits from one well-designed view without rebuilding it themselves.
Works across every model
A layout targets a model, so one saved configuration applies to every list view of that model — no per-screen setup.
One-click apply and reset
Apply a saved layout or revert a model back to Odoo's original list in a single action, so experimenting never feels risky.
How it works
Create a layout
Pick the model you want to personalize and give the layout a name.
Load and adjust columns
Load all fields in one click, then hide, rename or reorder the ones you use.
Apply it
Click Apply Layout and the target list view updates immediately for you.
Switch or share
Jump between saved layouts any time, or publish one as shared or company default.

All Layouts: the manager view of every personal, shared and company-default layout across models, with owner and visible/hidden column counts.
An active layout's form: the Active ribbon, header actions, and the Columns tab listing each field with its custom label and visibility toggle.

Frequently asked
Will my changes affect what other users see?
No. Every layout is personal by default and visible only to its owner. A layout only becomes visible to others if a user with the Manager permission explicitly publishes it as shared or company default.
Which list views can I personalize?
Any model available in your database. A layout targets a model, so once saved it applies automatically to every list view of that model — there is no per-screen setup.
Can I undo a layout if I don't like it?
Yes. Deactivate a layout or use Reset This Model to instantly revert a model's list view back to Odoo's original arch, with no data loss.
Does this create new fields or reports?
No. List View Manager only controls which existing fields are shown, how they are labeled and in what order — it does not add new fields, computed columns or reports.
