Scheduled Employee Changes

Scheduled actions to update employee data

Currently in odoo, you can modify all data related to employees, but sometimes it is cumbersome to know all the changes that an employee has had. This module provides a history of changes (job position, Manager, Coach...), you can also schedule changes to be made on a certain date, and notify those responsible.

By accessing the "Employees" menu we can access "Employee Change".


From the employee form view we can also access "Changes" and "History".


All changes made to an employee's record, whether "Manual" or "Scheduled", are displayed in the "History" view.


In the "History" view you can filter, group, even work with Dashboard and Spreadsheet.


When creating a "Change" you are required to fill out the list of changes to request.


Each time you enter a request, the system recommends possible values that "Change Value" can take.


The system has validations for the lines: when multiple values exist.


The system has validations for the lines: when it is empty.


The "Effective Date" is set so that the change takes effect on that date.


Changes can be processed manually with the "Apply change" button.


Or from a scheduled action "HR Employee Changes".


The scheduled action processes based on the effective date.


Manual action processes based on status.


The "Processed" status is assigned once all lines have been processed. If a new change is required, a new request must be created.


If we want to notify the Manager about the changes to be made, the "Notification" option must be checked.


There is an email template, which we can configure and adapt to different languages.


If we have checked the "Notification" option, an email is generated automatically.
