Calendly API Integration
The Calendly API Integration module for Odoo brings seamless scheduling and synchronization between Calendly and Odoo contacts. With this integration, you can easily manage events, activities, and cancellations from within Odoo. It allows you to authenticate your Calendly account, set up webhooks, and create activities whenever an invitee schedules an event. If an invitee reschedules, the activity will automatically be updated in Odoo's chatter for the corresponding contact. The integration ensures that cancellations are synchronized, meaning if an event is canceled on either Calendly or Odoo, the other platform will reflect the change. Additionally, you can track failed requests and responses, with an automatic cron job that deletes failed requests older than 15 days.
Calendly API Webhook Integration.
- Create a webhook after providing an authentication token from Calendly, enabling real-time updates and synchronization between Calendly and Odoo.
- Webhook will automatically trigger events when an invitee schedules, reschedules, or cancels an event.
Create Contact and Sync Activities with Calendly.
- When an invitee schedules an event via Calendly, a new contact will be created in Odoo if the inviteeâs email matches a contactâs email in Odoo.
- Activities will be automatically created in the contact chatter, corresponding to the scheduled event.
Reschedule Events and Update Activity in Odoo.
- If an invitee reschedules an event through Calendly, the corresponding activity in Odoo will be updated automatically.
- The activity will be updated in the chatter of the Odoo contact to reflect the new scheduled time.
Two-Way Cancellation Sync.
- If an event is cancelled in Calendly, the corresponding activity in Odoo will be cancelled automatically.
- Likewise, if an activity in Odoo is cancelled, the event will be cancelled in Calendly, ensuring seamless synchronization between both platforms.
View Failed Requests/Responses.
- Failed requests and responses from the Calendly API will be tracked and displayed within the system for troubleshooting purposes.
Cron Job to Delete Failed Requests/Responses Older Than 15 Days.
- A cron job will be set up to automatically delete failed requests or responses that are older than 15 days, ensuring your system remains clean and optimized.
