CODEerts POS Shipping | Odoo Point of Sale Delivery and Dine In | Take Away | Home Delivery Fee at the Till

POS Service Modes
Dine in, take away and delivery, tracked on the order itself.
A counter that also delivers runs three different businesses through one till. This tells them apart, and refuses a delivery with nowhere to send it.

One till, three different businesses
Odoo's point of sale treats an eat-in ticket and a delivery exactly the same
So the delivery charge gets keyed in by hand, the address lives on a sticky note, the kitchen cannot tell one ticket from another, and at the end of the month nobody can say how much of the trade was delivery.
What this module does
It puts the service mode on the order record, gives each mode its own fee product, refuses a delivery order that reaches the server without an address, and lets you filter the orders list by how the sale was served.
|
๐ฝ
Modes You Define
Dine in, take away and delivery come ready to use, and you can add your own with any name and behaviour. |
๐ท
A Fee Product Per Mode
Delivery charges point at a real product, so they report and post like everything else instead of a manual line. |
๐
No Delivery Without An Address
A delivery order that reaches the server with nowhere to send it is refused, so it never lands in the kitchen. |
๐
Split Visible In Reporting
Filter the orders list by dine in, take away or delivery and see the mix without exporting anything. |
|
๐ Modes Per Register
Choose which modes each point of sale offers. A counter that does not deliver never sees the option. |
๐ท Ordered And Archivable
Modes carry a sequence so they present in the order you want, and archive cleanly when a service stops. |
|
โ
Fee Product Validated
A fee product the point of sale cannot load is rejected on save, rather than silently never charging. |
๐ฆ Address On The Order
The delivery address is a field on the point of sale order, visible in the back office alongside the customer. |
|
๐ข Multi Company
Modes carry a company, so separate branches keep separate service offerings in one database. |
๐ No Loyalty Dependency
It depends on Point of Sale and Inventory only, so installing it does not drag unrelated apps into your database. |
How it works
|
1
Define your modes
Point of Sale, Configuration, Service Modes. Three arrive ready to use; add more and attach a fee product where one applies. |
2
Enable them per register
In Settings, switch service modes on for a point of sale and pick which ones it offers. Leave the list empty to offer them all. |
3
Report on the split
The orders list gains Dine In, Take Away and Deliveries filters, so counter and delivery trade separate at a glance. |
Screenshot walkthrough
Service modes are ordinary records. Each one names its code and, where a charge applies, the fee product used for it.
A delivery mode refuses payment until an address is set, so no order is taken that cannot be fulfilled.
Switch service modes on for a register and choose which of them it offers.
Orders carry their service mode into the back office, as a column and as a filter of its own.

Frequently asked questions
Not in this version. Each mode names the fee product it uses, and the charge is added as a normal line. Automatic insertion at the till is planned for a later release.
It is refused when it reaches the server, with a message asking for the address. A delivery with nowhere to send it cannot be fulfilled, so recording it would only create work for someone later.
Yes. Modes are ordinary records with a name, a code, an optional fee product and a sequence. Add as many as your operation needs.
No. It depends on Point of Sale and Inventory only. Some comparable apps pull in Loyalty whether you use it or not; this one does not.
Yes. Modes carry a company, and each point of sale chooses which of them it offers, so branches in one database stay independent.
Odoo 19 and 18, Community and Enterprise.
No. Point of sale users can read the modes; managers maintain them. No new groups are created.
